Product-Family Bridges
The Codex navigation layer that groups named Atlas products into technically coherent families without replacing their individual identities, specifications or recipes.
Product-family bridges connect technical Codex concepts to named Atlas products. They allow readers to compare related processes without converting the Atlas into a list of anonymous categories.
Products may be grouped by anatomy, comminution, fermentation, heat treatment, drying, species or culinary form. One product can therefore appear through several typed relationships while retaining one canonical identity.
The family page summarises shared structure and process science. It does not absorb the recipe, protected status, origin, terminology or sensory identity of an individual salume.
PDO, PGI, TSG and equivalent specifications take precedence for registered products. Non-protected traditional products still require accurate regional and historical context.
A Curesmith home adaptation may illustrate a technical principle, but it must remain clearly separate from an authentic or regulated product method.
Each bridge records its parent, children, aliases and related technical articles. New Atlas products are linked to the best-fitting family without rewriting the product itself.
